・Biography

神奈川県出身。地元のJAZZ BARで弾き語りのライブ活動を始め、2014年ファッション誌NYLON JAPANとSony Musicが開催したオーディションでグランプリを獲得する。HIP HOP/R&Bマナーのビートとアップリフティングなダンストラックの上をシームレスに歌いこなすシンガーソングライター。
2016年ビクターよりメジャーデビューし、iTunes Storeでトップ10入り、ヒップホップ/ラップチャートでは1位を獲得。翌年にはNikeのキャンペーンソングを手掛け話題となる。数多くのファッション誌にも登場し、フランスのフェスや中国でツアーを開催するなど海外でのライブにも出演し、多方面から注目される新進女性アーティスト。

2021年10月にデビュー5周年を迎え、「iri 5th Anniversary Live “2016-2021”」を開催し、BEST ALBUM「2016-2020」をリリース。同年11月23日にリリースされたRADWIMPSのアルバム「FOREVER DAZE」に「Tokyo feat.iri」で参加。
2022年2月に、5th ALBUM「neon」をリリース。10月13日に東京国際フォーラム ホールAにてiri Presents ONEMANSHOW "STARLIGHTS"を開催した。

2023年5月に、6枚目のアルバム「PRIVATE」をリリースし、5月17日から自身初となるホールツアーを開催する。

Born in Kanagawa prefecture. She started singing live performances at a local JAZZ BAR, and in 2014 won the Grand Prix at an audition held by fashion magazine NYLON JAPAN and Sony Music. She is a singer-songwriter who sings seamlessly over hip hop/R&B manner beats and uplifting dance tracks.
She made her major debut from Victor in 2016, entered the top 10 on the iTunes Store, and won the 1st place on the hip-hop/rap chart. In the following year, she worked on Nike's campaign song and she became a hot topic. She has appeared in many fashion magazines, and has also appeared in live performances overseas, including French festivals and tours in China.

She will celebrate her 5th anniversary in October 2021, and she will hold “iri her 5th Anniversary Live “2016-2021”” and release her BEST ALBUM “2016-2020”. She participated in RADWIMPS's album "FOREVER DAZE" released on November 23rd of the same year with "Tokyo feat.iri".
In February 2022, she released her 5th ALBUM "neon". She held her ONEMANSHOW "STARLIGHTS" at Hall A of Tokyo International Forum on October 13th.

In May 2023, she will release her 6th album "PRIVATE" and will hold her first hall tour from May 17th.
