THIS HEAD START FOR THE WEEK WILL BOOST YOUR SUCCESS IN ADOPTING AND MAINTAINING A HEALTHY WHOLE FOOD LIFE STYLE---
This video will be followed with additional videos on how we finish our pre-prepped salads for our selves on the day we eat it. There are so many options. you can preview many of them here ---- https://www.facebook.com/NutmegNotebook/ I have been eating a big beautiful salad for one meal a day since I adopted a whole food plant based lifestyle in 2013. It was one of the recommendations of Dr. Joel Fuhrman in his Eat To Live book. That was the first WFPB (whole food plant based) book I read. How I make those salads has evolved over time. This video describes what I currently put in my batch prepped salads each week. I do purchase as much already washed and ready to use organic produce as I can. I buy heads of organic romaine lettuce and wash and cut it myself as I find that it lasts longer than pre -cut romaine. Everyone asks me how long will these salad last? That all depends on how fresh the ingredients are that you use. I buy the ingredients and make my salads usually the next day. Making sure the expiration dates are beyond the time that I will eat the last prepped salad. Also make sure the ingredients are not too wet as that moisture will cause the greens to to go bad.
