The renpho bike app is called AI Gym and it has 3 main sections of courses you can join each of which are linked in the time stamps. Power Course, Video Course, and Ride Challenge are the three main sections of this video and well take a closer look and demonstration of each and how they work. Renpho bike review Part 1: https://youtu.be/HBnf2RWwWUM Up until this point most of the indoor cycle apps I've seen on other bikes are basically a re-hashed peloton app with nearly identical class formats, welcome screens, filtering systems, music, and paid subscription plan. The renpho app and technology breaks free from the standard cookie cutter mold most other platforms are using and they're actually doing something quite unique with the AI tech I speak more about at about 14:28 in the video. 0:00 basics 2:48 riding challenge 3:30 Power Course 6:07 Power Course demo 9:57 exercise report 11:36 FTP test 14:28 How the AI tech works 16:50 Video Course demo 19:00 Riding Challenge 21:40 Races 24:13 final thoughts The renpho ai powered bike app is free which is great if you want to avoid any monthly fees associated with paid apps like peloton digital app or apple fitness+. My channel offers honest product reviews and I post my amazon associate links and affiliate links in this section so if you want to help support my channel at no additional cost to, you can click the links in this description box and if you make a qualifying purchase I may earn a small commission. Thanks for your support! The AI feature on this bike is pretty neat, I explain how it works at about the 14:28 mark in this video. In some of the classes the bike will automatically dial in your resistance number in real time according to your cadence to help you maintain a particular power output in watts. The way power output is calculated is basically cadence x resistance = power. so if there is a particular FTP % they want you to maintain for a section of the ride, the bike monitors your cadence and adjusts the resistance in real time to force you to achieve the requested power output. for example power output of 50 watts can be achieved at many difference combinations of cadence and resistance. you can have really high cadence and super low resistance, or really low cadence and super high resistance. every rider has there own preferred riding style and this bike helps you output a consistent power by letting you pedal at the speed you want and adjusting the resistance number in real time. |
