Creative Ideas to Provide Equitable Art Education Via Remote Learning |
|
Join Paige Covello and Mary Tuttle from Salem, MA Public Schools as they share with you their out-of-the-box ideas to continue engaging students in art and creativity during this time. They are showing their students, some of whom have limited supplies and access to the outdoors, how to make a magnificent "something" out of everyday objects and experiences. While directions and communication is on screen, much of their work for students takes them off the screen, into their yards, dress-up bins, “everything drawers” and even their clothing closet! Learn with Paige and Mary some new ways to inspire your students during this challenging time.
Presented by Piage Covello and Mary Tuttle. Paige has been teaching for 25 years. She is a past MAEA elementary art educator of the year and Rotary Educator award winner. Mary entered art education 15 years ago after a career in graphic design. She continues to show her prints in galleries in New England.
