Tripura Election Result 2023: The counting of votes for polling to the 60 assembly constituencies in Tripura began at 8 am on Thursday. The trends for five to eight rounds of voting are expected by noon. As many as 259 candidates from different political parties are in the fray. A triangular electoral battle between BJP-IPFT, Left Front-Congress alliance and regional party Tipra Motha is being witnessed. Elections in Tripura were held on February 16, when nearly 89.98 per cent of voters had exercised their franchise.
