45 Minute Grounding Yoga Nidra for Balancing Vata Season | Connect to the Earth Element and Nourish Your Body, Mind, and Spirit

Vata is the dosa of air or space and during the months of early Fall and Winter in the Northern Hemisphere, you might experience the qualities of Vata when you step outside, such a dry, cool, light, windy, rigid, windy or moving. You might also experiences some of these qualities within. In this practice, find balance as you connect deeply to the Earth element and embody the opposite qualities of Vata dosha, such as warmth, moisture, heaviness, or softness. This practice is designed to help you feel grounded, connected, centred, and at-home within oneself and here on the earth. Be cradled into the deepest states of relaxation as you relax back into this soothing guided mediation with gentle music to allow you to get the deep rest that you long for and the deep rest that you need. Yoga nidra is a meditative technique of guided meditation that is completely effortless and accessible to all beings and all levels. All you need to do is get comfortable, relax back and just listen as you are guided into the deepest brainwave states of light altered consciousness and meditative relaxation. With an acute sense of awareness still present, find yourself in a deeply healing and regenerative experience of wakeful or conscious sleep. It has been shown that just 45 minutes of this practice can be equivalent to about 3 hours of deep sleep. Emerge from this practice feeling grounding, rejuvenated, rested, and ready to step back out into your day renewed and transformed. Come back to this practice anytime you feel like the qualities of Vata dosha are present or any time you feel spacious or unbalanced.
