Singapore's Parliament has unanimously passed a motion to condemn the terror attacks and violations of international law in the Israel-Hamas war. Over 20 MPs and ministers spoke on the topic in a six-hour session. Both sides of the House agreed that Singapore must keep a united front. Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan said Singapore must not let the conflict divide society and affect its racial and religious harmony. Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said even though the Israel-Hamas conflict is happening far from Singapore's shores, it can still affect the Republic.
