Typical Toastmasters meetings comprise of several elements in order to provide opportunities for members to develop various aspects of public speaking and leadership. All members are encouraged to take on new roles they have never done before. This is new member and newly elected Vice President of Public Relations Damian Cousins playing his first role as Joke Master of the Day. At the beginning of the meeting, within 2 minutes, he excellently delivers a fast paced series of jokes to brighten up everyone's mood rather quickly. Introducing him is Geri Cvetic who was filling in as Toastmaster of the Day. This is another skill a Toastmaster must be good at - filling in when a member is unable to show up for any reason.
