Jordan Bardella took over as leader of France's far-right National Rally party from Marine LePen, and is the party's lead candidate in next month's European elections. Speaking at a campaign event this week, the 28-year-old urged supporters to turn out in large numbers.
National Rally has been leading in the polls, ahead of the EU-wide vote - and Bardella wants the election to be seen as a mid-term referendum on the government of President Emmanuel Macron. 00:00 Young voters on far-right politician Jordan Bardella 00:14 Who is Front National's Jordan Bardella? 01:21 Cécile Alduy - Professor of French, Stanford University Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/deutschewelleenglish?sub_confirmation=1 For more news go to: http://www.dw.com/en/ Follow DW on social media: ►Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deutschewellenews/ ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/dwnews ►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dwnews ►Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/dwnews_hangout Für Videos in deutscher Sprache besuchen Sie: https://www.youtube.com/dwdeutsch #EU #NationalRally #JordanBardella |
