Herbert Puchta's 5 things to know about developing vital life skills in teens

Being a teenager can be a challenge! While our goal, first and foremost, as language teachers is of course about developing our students’ language and communicative competencies, we are often faced with situations in teenage classrooms when other (emotional) issues get in the way. In this webinar Herbert Puchta first looked at key research findings into resilience – the ability to adapt to and successfully deal with challenges and stressful situations. He then presented a range of practical ideas and strategies that help build resilience in teenage students, and exemplified those using examples from Think 2nd edition.
