भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ (डब्ल्यूएफआई) के अध्यक्ष बृजभूषण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ पिछले एक महीने से जंतर-मंतर पर पहलवान विरोध प्रदर्सन कर रहे हैं. पहलवान विनेश फोगाट, साक्षी मलिक और बजरंग पुनिया मांग कर रहे हैं कि बृजभूषण सिंह का नार्को टेस्ट हो. इसी बीच सिंह ने बुधवार (24 मई) को कहा कि वो इसके लिए तैयार हैं.

बीजेपी सांसद बृजभूषण सिंह ने कहा, ''मैं नार्को टेस्ट करवा लूंगा, लेकिन आरोप लगा रहे पहलवानों का भी नार्को टेस्ट होना चाहिए. पहले वे नार्को टेस्ट कराएं, मैं लाइव टेस्ट के लिए भी तैयार हूं. पुलिस मुझसे 5-6 घंटे पहले भी पूछताछ कर चुकी है.आगे भी अगर पुलिस को पूछताछ करनी होगी तो उसके लिए मैं चला जाऊंगा.'' उन्होंने आगे कहा कि मैं न्यायपालिका के निर्णय का सम्मान करता हूं. मेरे खिलाफ एफआईआर भी दर्ज हो गई है लेकिन फिर भी विरोध क्यों जारी है?

पहलवान क्या कह रहे हैं?
प्रदर्शनकारी पहलवानों ने मंगलवार (23 मई) को जंतर-मंतर से इंडिया गेट तक ‘कैंडल मार्च’ किया. इस दौरान विनेश फोगाट ने कहा कि पिछले एक महीने से हम विरोध (सरकार द्वारा बृजभूषण के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने के लिए) कर रहे हैं और यह शर्म की बात है कि अब तक कुछ भी नहीं हुआ है. आज, हमने इंडिया गेट पर कैंडल मार्च निकाला और हमें पता चला है कि देश के कई हिस्सों में ऐसी मार्च निकाली गयी है.

उन्होंने बताया, ‘‘ खाप पंचायत ने निर्णय लिया है कि 28 मई को नई संसदके पास महिलाओं और युवाओं के नेतृत्व में महापंचायत की जाएगी. यह फैसला इसलिए लिया गया है क्योंकि यह महिलाओं की अखंडता और सम्मान की लड़ाई है. इस विरोध प्रदर्शन को लेकर कोई बड़ा फैसला 28 मई के बाद लिया जायेगा.

क्या मामला है?
पहलवानों ने सिंह पर एक नाबालिग सहित कई महिला पहलवानों का यौन उत्पीड़न और धमकारने का आरोप लगाया है. इसको लेकर दिल्ली पुलिस ने उनके खिलाफ पोक्सो एक्ट सहित दो एफआईआर दर्ज की है.
