Within the iGES webinar "How gut microbiota influence food intolerance and liver cancer risk", which was held on August 26th, 2021, three internationally renowned speakers presented current scientific trends in the field of gastroenterology and provided us with interesting insights into their research.
As professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Nottingham, Prof. Robin Spiller is also past editor of Gut, member of the Board of the Rome Foundation and author/co-author of more than 388 scientific publications. His research interests include the pathophysiology of IBS, particularly the role of infection, inflammation, diet and alterations in the microbiome.
