Did you know that the signs and symptoms of a heart attack are different in men and women? DaMarcus Baymon, MD, Emergency Medicine Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Faulkner Hospital, explains what to do if someone is having a heart attack and what to look out for.

Heart attack symptoms include chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath, and nausea. If you suspect a heart attack, call for emergency help immediately. Giving emergency medication like aspirin or nitroglycerine (if it’s been prescribed), performing hands-only CPR, and using an AED can all help reduce damage to the heart and save lives.
