Becoming Allies and Forging a Partnership Society | Preisha Agarwal | TEDxJamesLoganHS |

Divisions between classes, genders, and races, restrict our world from becoming a perfect one. Such boundaries bring hate and violence, which have become the norm for everyday life. Amid this chaos, is it possible to catch a glimpse of hope for a world with no boundaries? What if the world could ally together to bring all communities on a leveled society? Preisha Agarwal is a 16-year-old attending American High School in Fremont, California. She aspires to study Business//Entrepreneurship, sparked by her participation in Future Business Leaders of America. By giving this speech, she hopes to inspire the middle school students she teaches public speaking to. She often spends her free time writing or creating artwork to express her civic, social, and political interests, which have been awarded by Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and published in national anthologies. The issue of women’s rights is close to her heart, and she has founded a nonprofit by the name “Greenories” to help raise funds for women’s education in India. In her free time, she loves adding to her list of fluent languages and exploring the cultures of the world through literature, food, art, and music. She also enjoys reading novels, listening to R&B music, and making new friends. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
