Husk is the front desk clerk and bartender at the Happy Hotel. Anthony, more commonly known as Angel Dust, is an adult film star and the first patient at the Happy Hotel. A spider demon who elected to be the first the Hotel is to redeem, his selfish actions of using the Hotel as a rent-free living space threaten to jeopardize Charlie's dream.

Angel is Italian. Whenever Angel leaves the hotel, he gets Husk to babysit Fat Nuggets. The ominous silhouette behind Angel.
During the gang war with Sir Pentious, Angel's shadow appears different from him, being larger with six arms and red eyes. This possibly hints Angel can transform into a stronger form like other demons, such as Charlie.
According to Ashley, Angel's voice sounds like Yakko from Animaniacs, and has made his VA do some lines from it. 【Hazbin Hotel Comic Dub】LOVE'S PASSIONATE KISS (Huskerdust || Angel Dust x Husk) Husk's name means "a shell or a protective outer covering (of something)" which fits his character well since he is shown to be merely what is left over of the man he once was.
Husk was originally designed by Vivienne's sister, Maritza.
Husk is the easiest character to write for Vivziepop since he does not really care about anything and is almost always grumpy, leading to him having quite the same reactions to anything.
Husk grew up in a casino and really likes magic shows.
According to Vivziepop, Husk's gambling lifestyle alongside his voice actor Mick Lauer's fluency in Taiwanese was an influence on his multilingualism.
According to Dave Capdevielle, the reason Husk drinks a lot is because he's very deeply emotionally troubled. In one of his Voxtagram posts, it is revealed that:
Fat Nuggets was originally given to him as a gift.
And that he has a candid picture of Husk in his room.
The one thing Angel doesn't like about this demon form is his feet.
Angel, alongside Alastor, is the hardest to write for Vivziepop because she doesn't know all the details of the period of time where they come from and since they are based on some complex emotions she has had in her life.
Husk is the only character, other than the Hellhounds, to have ears.
Additionally, he is the only character from the main cast who doesn't wear any clothes, excluding his top hat and bowtie.
According to Faustisse, he is apparently good with children.
Ashley and Mick describe Husk as a Tsundere.
Viv can see Husk being able to play the saxophone.
According to Vivziepop, Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty was an influence on Husk's voice. This didn't play in favor as subsequent auditions for the character were mere impressions of Rick rather than a unique voice of their own.
Angel and Alastor are also two of the first characters Vivzie has ever created and are two of her personal favorites.
Creating Angel Dust was an emotional rollercoaster ride for Viv as it helped her go through a toxic relationship.
Despite being gay, Angel is willing to sleep with women in exchange for money, as shown in the prequel comic.
At the Momocon 2019 Hazbin Hotel panel, when asked by a fan if Angel will be getting a boyfriend, Vivziepop said he will at some point in the series.
