L’equipe broke the news that, Kylian Mbappe is open and hasn’t closed his door to Barcelona; Barcelona have contacted Mbappe and his team to explore the possibility of getting him on free at the end of the summer. Of course we are all aware the PSG man has his sight on Madrid and this news from France actually surprised us all. I personally wouldn’t have reported it if it came from elsewhere, but L’equipe and especially a story published by Jose Barroso, a journalist really close to Mbappe’s entourage, such update bears some veracity. Now many are asking, will Barcelona even be able to afford those fees ? Obviously if he joins, no transfer fee will be paid by Barca. Though, his wages and agent fees are ridiculously high, inside reports are that Barca believe that the Spotify deal and the possible cvc deal will get them more money meet such demands. Its going to be one of the biggest twist should Mbappe end in Barca instead of Madrid.
