I'm a part of the @courageforamerica nationwide "Back Off Our Benefits" bus tour, which kicked off in Bakersfield on Thursday. The tour began at a park near House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's district office, as we are calling on Speaker McCarthy and other Republican leaders to protect essential programs, and stop playing dangerous political games with the default crisis.
