"IDOLSTAR" is unlike any other album April Boy has ever released. Not only does it sound different, it also feels different because of an added element: his son JC's personal touch. Out of the eight songs in this wonderfully fresh album, only two ("Tanggap Ko Na" at "Siya Ba o Ako") were composed by April Boy Regino. Save for"Pangarap Ko'y Makapiling Ka", JC Regino composed the rest of the songs. Another thing that makes this album different is the Inclusion of Minus One versions of all the songs..The Carrier single of "IdolStar" is " Di Na 'Ko Iibig Pang Muli" which was warmly accepted by the pop radio stations. It is a chart topper on almost all the radio playlists.
