I am super stoked for Kristoffersen with this win. I definitely felt his pain when he was looking at the times he was getting and he just didn’t know what he was doing wrong. He surprised me with this win as I was expecting January for him to start getting in the flow of things and adapting to either his new weight or losing a little weight. My personal opinion is he just didn’t have enough time to learn to ski with the new muscle mass over this pandemic and it was just going to take some time and practice through the winter until we see him back to what we know and expect of him. This was the only logical thing I could think of as to why we haven't seen him at top form yet. I was perplexed by his first performances and that is what this video is about.

I don’t want to take anything away from his second run as it was spectacular but the 18th start position definitely attributed to the win with the course drastically deteriorating after every racer with the softer conditions. I am very interested to see his next race.

Remember these are just my thoughts that go through my head as I watch races, it is all just speculation and all open to each persons own personal interpretation. My opinion is only that, just an opinion and not fact and could definitely be wrong but I wanted to share it none the less. I do have experience with my reasoning which is why it is a suspicion.
