Mortal Kombat is a 2021 US-based film in the fantasy martial arts genre, directed by Simon McCoyd. The screenplay was written by Greg Rousseau based on the video game series of the same name by Ed Boone and John Tobias. The film is considered a remake of the series and is a sequel to Mortal Kombat: Destruction (1997).

Mortal Kombat is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. on April 16, 2021.
