Jaishankar pushes for UNSC seat for India: "Call for multilateralism enjoys considerable support"

External Affairs minister S Jaishankar in his address at the General Debate of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly pushed for expansion of the UN Security Council and India as its permanent member. Jaishankar also took a jibe at Pakistan and China with his 'defenders of proclaimed terrorists' despite UN sanctions remark.
