Day 90 / 366
John 21:15-17 NIV “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.” Acts 20:32 “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” John 15:13 KJV “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” FEED MY SHEEP ☀️This is a clear and direct instruction that many Christians deny today. We keep saying, that’s for pastors and priests and preachers of God’s word, they are the ones who are called to do that. Some of us are just called to listening. Last time I checked, the five fold ministry has apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.I shared a video sometime here and I remember saying that, when Jesus told the disciples Go and make disciples, it didn’t mean that now wake up let’s go, the actual translation is “As you go” this scripture is assuming you have already gone and now on your way, please make disciples of all nations, now, for our understanding the scripture was meaning we know you have become a doctor but still make disciples of all nations, we know you have become a minister in Government, still make disciples, we know you are now a lawyer, still in that, make disciples of all nations. This is the same thing with this scripture. Well done on all your accomplishments in this world, but if you love me then FEED MY FLOCK. #StayBlessed |
