In this Behind the Braids, you’ll get to see why they should call it May Madness instead of March Madness for parents! Having 6 kids who are all very active in school go through 6+ ceremonies means it’s going to be a CRAZY week!

Brooklyn and Bailey graduated from HIGH SCHOOL! They alone had 4 different Last week of School Events for us to attend this week. The first was a Baccalaureate ceremony. It’s a symbolic, interdenominational ceremony to symbolize your independence from high school and branching out as an adult. HOWEVER, ours was rather humorous because we had a little mishap with our speaker. 😂

We’re all so proud of Brooklyn and Bailey for graduating High School with such aplomb! It was really emotional seeing them walk across the stage. What a milestone for them! The Baccalaureate ceremony, their last choir show, their senior line up where they announce where they go to school, and their ACTUAL graduation! It really gave that feeling of closing the high school chapter.

We also have DAXTON’S 4th-grade graduation! He will be moving on to middle school next year, which will present many challenges for him with his schedule but we’re all in it together Dax! We’re so proud of him and everything he has accomplished emotionally and educationally this year!

Finally, we have Kamri, Rylan and Paisley’s last days of school! They are all at such different times in their lives too. Paisley our sweet little girl, Rylan is a rambunctious teenager, and Kamri is really maturing into a young woman. Each of them celebrates the last day of school in their own unique ways!
