Turkey ended its #Euphrates Shield Operation in northern Syria on May 30, 2017. It was launched on August 24, 2016, after a series of terror attacks threatened the country’s national security. The aim was to push Daesh away from its border and stop the advance of the #PKK and its affiliate, the #YPG.
