Irish pubs and restaurants open for outdoor service for first time in 2021

Monday 7 June marked another milestone on the road to reopening Irish society and the economy with the further lifting of Covid-19 restrictions and the resumption of outdoor hospitality.

Tens of thousands of workers returned to their jobs in cafes, restaurants and bars, many of which have been shuttered since Christmas.
