Chapter IV of the saga that is Pacquiao/Marquez. Their objective in this fight was to eliminate any and all doubts surrounding the fans around the world.

They didn't disappoint. When this fight was first announced so many people were boycotting it and saying this and that but at the end of the day Manny & Juan not only produced the fight of year, but also boxing event of the year, round of the year and knockout of the year.

To put it simply, Act IV was a huge success. Grossing over 1 million pay per view buys. At this stage, it is not yet certain whether or not we will see these 2 ring warriors compete against each other again.

But right now, demands are high for a 5th fight and rumors are it may take place during the Mexican Independence holiday in September 16 with each fighter looking to make career high purses.

WILL MANNY RISE AGAIN After this brutal loss??? Time will tell..

The first 3 bouts ended in controversy due to the competitive nature of their battles where the winner barely walks away with his hand raised.

2004: There first fight ended in a draw with Manny knocking down Marquez 3 times in the first round but the Mexican gutted it out until the final bell. Manny would've walked away with the win had one of the judges scored the first round 10-6 not 10-7 due to the 3 knockdowns. How you miss a knockdown beats the hell out of me. Great Fight!

2008: After more back and forth explosive action Manny walks away with a split decision victory and a new championship belt. The 3rd round knockdown being the key factor in that victory.

2011: The epic third dance had Manny throwing and landing more than JMM as well as push the pace more but JMM imo landed the cleaner harder blows.Too close to call, wouldn't have been surprised if the nod went to Marquez..
