A soldered joint might fail. You can always reuse the old cartridge. It will stick out an extra 3.5mm unless cut down. Nothing wrong with leaving it long - it should still work, you would just need to adjust the part cooling fan and bed leveling sensor a bit. I also did some experiments with a copper block and CHT nozzle. |
