Waste is a massive problem in the world today. Anish Malpani takes us through just how complex and layered it can get in India, how the solutions need to tackle the different intricacies and help all the people involved. Anish believes that there is no place for poverty in the world we live in. He is currently building Ashaya (www.ashaya.in), a social enterprise focused on increasing the value of waste through deep tech and fairly redistributing that value to stakeholders in the supply chain, especially those that are the most poor: waste-pickers.
