Donald Trump has continued to escalate his attacks against Judge Merchant and of course the prosecutors at the Manhattan DA's office. And as a result, over the last few days, we have, of course seen an increase in the number of death threats against the judge, the judge's family, Alvin Bragg, and other prosecutors and employees at the courthouse and the DA's office. This is exactly what Donald Trump wanted to happen. This is exactly what the judge warned could happen, and so far nothing has happened to Donald Trump. Even after, as I said, he escalated his attacks to the point that this might be considered a little bit of defamation. Here's what Trump posted on truth, social, the radical left lunatics, maniacs, and perverts had me indicted and arrested for no reason whatsoever. Then he went on and talked about how much he actually enjoyed being arraigned and how great his poll numbers have been since then.

So yeah, it's a lot of fun. But these perverts perverts, see, pervert is a term that even when directed at a public official, you know, where you have a very high bar of trying to prove defamation in a slander, liable defamation lawsuit, um, pervert has an implicit sexual connotation to it. One of the things that you absolutely cannot do, even to a public figure with that very high bar to prove defamation, is you cannot imply any kind of sexual activity. You also cannot call them a felon or a criminal if they have not been actually convicted. That'll get you hit with a lawsuit right away. So this claim of calling them perverts, by the way, you also can't, um, say that they're, you know, insane. Like you cannot make statements of fact as to their mental health. You can speculate sure, but calling them lunatics, maniacs, uh, I mean that skirts the line.

I use those words too. So, you know, it depends on how you take it. But the pervert line, I want, I want that expanded upon. I want Donald Trump to explain exactly how these people are, are perverts. I want him to explain what that means, because if his explanation has anything to do with any kind of sex related act, everyone at these offices can then sue him for defamation. That is what that statement is. Um, I, I learned this past week actually from talking to a legal expert, Mike Papantonio, that would be considered libel per se. So I think Trump has some explaining to do, and I think he needs to be very careful with his rhetoric, not only because it's causing the death threats. I think

That's what Trump wants, but this could cost him money. And, you know, he doesn't wanna lose money. He doesn't care about the threats. He's inspiring against these officials. He wants that. I, I truly believe he wants that. Like he wouldn't be out there attacking the judge and the judge's family and, and the prosecutor. Alvin, Brad. He wouldn't be attacking these people if he didn't want his supporters to do something like other. If, if that's not the point, then what is the point? You have nothing to gain from naming these people, from showing a picture of the judge's daughter. You have nothing to gain from any of that unless the goal is to get your crazy supporters to do horrible things to these people. Now, the courthouse has increased security. The DA's office has had to increase security. Everybody is on guard here, but the judge still has not issued an order demanding that Donald Trump shut the hell up. And I think we're at that point now. And honestly at this point, it's probably for the best for Trump if a gag order is placed on him. Because if he continues down this road making statements like this, not only is he gonna be hit with a gag order, eventually he'll also probably be hit with a couple of defamation lawsuits as well.
