Behind The Set Of Stranger Things Season 4 |
|
Stranger Things has some of the coolest sets and season 4 certainly did not disappoint! From Rink-O-Mania to Skull Rock to the bottom of Love Lake, there’s plenty to explore. Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp had a blast at the Rink-O-Mania, spending their breaks skating to Millie’s music. Love Lake required the use of a sixteen-foot-deep pool, and an old abandoned plot involving Joe Keery in a speedo! The winter Russian shots were actually done in Lithuania and froze David Harbour’s toes off. The Video Store was situated right next to a staple location from a previous season and both were originally used as the same place. Vecna’s layer is pretty freaking cool to see. The practical set is impressive but so is the CGI work! The Hawkins lab rainbow room was decked out with cushion pads to break the fall of the actors. There have been some brilliant homages to 80’s movies including E.T. We wish Surfer Boy Pizza was real. Good news! For a limited time, it is! The trailer park and the cemetery are being used to their full potential this season. Hawkins High School will look familiar to you, and we mean as more than just the high school you’ve already seen. It looks oddly familiar but we just can’t put our finger on it. The Creel House in its untouched form is far more beautiful than what they did with it for the show. It’s been a pretty intense season so far and we still have part 2 to look forward to!
