|
Imagine loving to create visual art, but had limited use of your hands. Creating Art is one of the foundations of discovery, expression and development. Many people with disabilities cannot create their Art as easily as others. Art Teacher Laura Roth collaborated with another Art Teacher to 3D print a drawing device for her student, Sara, with Cerebral Palsy, so Sara would be able to create her own art unaided. Active Fine Artist, Graphic Designer and Art teacher for the Marsh Creek 6th grade center at Downingtown Area School District in Pennsylvania. She will share her story on the device she designed and developed for a student in her class with Cerebral Palsey. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
