In a round that covers the least number of Lok Sabha seats (49), the fifth phase of polls begin with voting taking place across six states and two Union Territories (Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla).

By the end of voting day, a total of 428 LS seats will have completed polling, leaving 115 seats in the remaining two phases. In addition to five Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, voters will also cast their ballot for the second phase of simultaneous state assembly elections today.
