Hello and Welcome to the live coverage for the 2nd T20I between India and New Zealand. The first T20 saw rain play the spoilsport and it seems that it is still chasing the Blue and Black Caps. The good news is it has paused for some time and we can expect some play.

After a rain-consumed first T20I both New Zealand and India move on in the three-match series as they get ready to play the second game at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. The enthralling encounter will come live beginning at 12:00 PM IST on Sunday!

An overview of New Zealand:
As always host comes first. Talking about New Zealand they have been playing a great bit of cricket in the recent past. After the washout at the Sky Stadium on Friday now it is important for the tourists to get some game time.

In the prematch interview Shubman Gill spoke about his potential T20I debut and given that he should be opening the batting for the Men in Blue. Rest there is a debate on who is his opening partner and the most likely candidate is Rishabh Pant.

India Team News: Rishabh Pant should get to play with Dinesh Karthik not picked for this series. But it remains to be seen if he bats at the top of the order. Yuzvendra Chahal who went without a game in the T20 World Cup should get in too in the absence of R Ashwin.
