Tech is a vibrant and growing field, but it can also be very competitive. Professionals and intending ones gain access to the tech field through different routes. Product Ownership / Management is one of the numerous ways individuals gain entry into this field.
‘Product Owner’ is an emerging job of the future. Product ownership entails much more than simply owning a product. Product owners are the authority in product development and the public face of the product. They are the leaders, guiding the product’s progress and managing the team toward success. Businesses developed the role of the product owner to address the challenges in Agile development, especially by Scrum teams. Without a product owner, the Scrum team faces several challenges: * They struggle to clearly identify goals and deliverables. * They get information from a variety of sources without the ability to discern what is key to the project. * They lack the accountability within the larger organization to finish the work on time. Wes Bush, the author of “Product-Led Growth” opined that Product-led growth will have a lot of traction in 2022. In his words, “Product-led growth is defined as a go-to-market strategy that relies on using your product as the main vehicle to acquire, activate, and retain customers.” There is an increased interest in the Product team globally. It is a moving train that is not about to make a halt. This webinar answered questions about; * The growing demand for product owners in the tech space and other industries as well * The requirement one should possess to get into this role * How to get started as a PO or how to transition to a PO Send an email to us at info@bnetlearning.com to start your product management journey! www.bnetlearning.com |
