In a frantic bid to shore up the value of the naira against the dollar, interventions by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN continue to yield positive dividends. On Monday, the apex bank initiates the sale of 10,000 dollars each to BDC operators, at a discount rate of 1,250 per dollar. The aim, we understand, is to bolster the forex market and stabilise the national currency. It is the second such sale this April and the 4th in the current year. Are BDCs playing ball?
