Recording of public meeting hosted by EGLE on 10/8/20. On August 3, 2020, new PFAS drinking water standards and new Part 201 groundwater cleanup criteria became effective in Michigan. The new cleanup criteria resulted in several sites being added to the Michigan PFAS Action Response Team (MPART) list of ongoing groundwater site investigations. This regional webinar is intended to inform local officials, legislators, residents, and the general public in the areas listed below about the new sites. The webinar will provide an overview of the new cleanup criteria, health information, and information about each of the new sites in the area. Cities covered in this webinar: Detroit, Dearborn and Melvindale.
