The Tuesday Night Club was in for a real treat when Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor joined us on May 17th. I wanted to ask her about THAT TED TALK but it was when she described how it felt leading up to, during and the aftermath of such enormous success, that we were treated to a wonderfully vivid understanding of this unique experience.

Taking us through the journey of 'My Stroke of Insight' and onto her work in 'Whole Brain Living', she is highly entertaining and uses powerful imagery to explain her concepts. Her enthusiasm is infectious and listening to her speak in a way that is engaging and in language easily understood (for a Harvard Brain Scientist for goodness sake!) there's a feeling that you're hearing something that will forever change the way you understand the power and mastery it's possible to have over your mind - and we even get to choose which of our characters to put in charge depending on what is intended to accomplish.
