Oasis - Live in Stockholm, Cirkus, 26/6/2002 |
|
Continuing in June, Oasis travel north to Stockholm to play at the Cirkus, an arena, another small venue of just 1,650.
Liam's voice is still on high this gig, and this gig is seen as one of the better shows of June. This is also the last-ever performance of Gas Panic! A song that defined the Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants era. You would not find a gig where that song was not played. It's one of the most iconic songs Oasis wrote in the 2000s, and it's one of the many fan favorites. Gas Panic! would be relegated to soundchecks, which in 2009, did occur. The only song that remained now from Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants would be the other staple, Go Let It Out, which would continue until the end of 2002, when Liam just couldn't sing at all. The only problem with the recording is that She's Electric is immediately cut following the song for the taper to switch tapes. So after the cut, there's a slow fade-in before Born On A Different Cloud is played.
