Boris Johnson has delivered his resignation speech, saying “how sad I am to be giving up the best job in the world, but them’s the breaks”.

But he added that “the herd had moved, and when the herd moves, it moves quickly”.

Mr Johnson is resigning as Conservative Party Leader but will stay on as Prime Minister until October.

Labour says they will call a no-confidence vote if stays in power.
