Kate Chandler was the pick of the bowlers for the Kiwis, taking three for eight from her four overs. The only West Indian batter into double figures was Earnisha Fontaine who scored 11 with extras amounting to 25.

Needing 69 to stay on top off Group C, New Zealand raced to their target in 7.2 overs - 72 without loss the final score, New Zealand winning comfortably by 10 wickets. This puts them first on 6 points with the Windies second on four.
