Ten thousand meters. Elevation of more than five thousand feet. Hills! Turns! A stadium finish! And fifty thousand of your best running friends! This is the BolderBOULDER 10k!

Despite being one of the hardest races to spell (is it BolderBoulder or BoulderBolder??), more than 50,000 athletes flock to Boulder, CO every Memorial Day to participate in the BolderBoulder 10k, the 2nd largest 10k in the country and 5th largest road race in the world (wow!). The course takes runners on a tour of downtown Boulder and its surrounding neighborhoods, and then finishes at the University of Colorado's football stadium. The roads are then cleared for the elite men's and women's fields with a prize purse large enough to attract some of the world's top talent. Despite the huge field of runners, this is one of the logistically sound races you will ever experience.
