The Scott's Addition area of the city of Richmond offers so many fun things to do and experience! In the future we will be making another Fun Things To Do In The City Of Richmond video, but for this video the focus will be solely on the Scott's Addition area. Scott's Addition is known as the beverage district of Richmond and that is because so many breweries are located within it. Plus there is also a meadery, a distillery, a cidery, and a winery, but Scott's Addition has so much more to offer than just alcohol.

Once a primarily industrial part of the city of Richmond, many of the old factories and warehouses have been converted into unique entertainment venues, excellent restaurants, breweries, and new apartment buildings. This is an area that you could park your car and spend the whole day wandering around and never run out of things to do.

We start off by telling you all about some of our absolute favorite restaurants in the Scott's Addition area. Fat Dragon has some of the best chinese food in all of Richmond. Lucky AF offers excellent sushi. Lunch/Supper has excellent and tasty southern style comfort food and their Krispy Kreme bread pudding dessert is out of this world. Gelati Celesti has some of the best ice cream in Richmond and they have one of their many locations in Scott's Addition too. ZZQ is an incredibly popular BBQ spot, and there are so many others. We highly recommend jumping onto Google Maps to see all of your options and check out reviews, but trust us, you won't go wrong with any of them.

After we show you the restaurants we then take you to some of the unique and fun entertainment options within the area. The Park RVA just opened up and it is a huge facility offering tons of space to hang out or have an event. There are multiple bars, food court style restaurants, duck pin bowling, and even mini golf. River City Roll is a boutique bowling alley and unlike any bowling alley you have ever been too. Top Golf is also located in the area and even if you aren't great at golf you will have fun playing the various radar based games they offer. You can go rock climbing at Peak Experiences, or catch a baseball game at The Diamond. The Circuit is a retro style "barcade" with lots of old school video games and a self serve beer wall. Slingshot is a social gaming club that offers bocce ball, duck pin bowling, and lots more.

We end the video with what Scott's Addition is known for, it's breweries. Hardywood deserves most of the credit for paving the way for the microbrew scene here in Richmond and their first brewery is located in Scott's Addition. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and a long list of beers. Starrhill brewing has a very nice facility with rooftop seating. The Veil and Ardent both have very nice outdoor seating areas, and Strangeways offers very funky, unique beers. If you are more of a wine person definitely check out Brambly Park. It is a very nice winery/restaurant/venue with a large outdoor area that hosts live music.
