UPS humanitarian operations expert Dale Herzog describes the havoc caused by all the gifts and donations that swamp areas in the wake of natural disasters and tragedies. This unwanted bounty slows relief efforts, hurts the local environment and economy, and usually ends up being destroyed. He shares three questions to ask the next time you're tempted to send stuff to help.
