The Lost Generation of Heavyweight Boxing (Boxing Documentary)

From February 15, 1978 to June 27, 1988 the heavyweight boxing division saw a NOTICEABLE stretch of corruption, overhauling, division, and just plain confusion. Leon Spinks would unwittingly spark a curse when he upset Muhammad Ali to become the last undisputed champion for a decade. The title was split; the WBC title saw stability in Larry Holmes while the WBA title was the subject of hot potato. The IBF title entered the warzone to further dilute the title picture. There were many names in this era that showed flashes of greatness, but they were defeated outside of the ring by addiction, laziness, injury, and more. It wound up being the coming out party for Muhammad Ali's long awaited successor to the throne as well. Without revealing too much, enjoy this docu-series on heavyweight boxing's lost generation; the good names that could've been GREAT!
