Gaza death toll continues to rise |

Relief for the people of Gaza as Israel and Hamas agree to a three-day humanitarian ceasefire. The details were worked out in Cairo with Egypt mediating in separate talks with Palestinian negotiators and the Israelis. Since Israel's military assault on Gaza began a month ago, 64 Israeli soldiers and three civilians - including a Thai national - have been killed. Gaza's Health Ministry says 1,939 Palestinians have been killed. Nearly three quarters are civilians according to the UN. Nearly 10 THOUSAND Palestinians have been wounded. And about 170 thousand people are living in 89 UN shelters. Al Jazeera's Charles Stratford reports from inside Gaza where the death toll is still being counted.
