Cheri Shone embarked on a degree as a mature student in her 40’s, she is dyslexic and the first in her family to study at this level. One thought she did have while studying was that she did not want to become a professional dyslexic. She is now a Specialist Support Tutor so that worked out well! Christian, a student at Central, has been dyslexic all of his life and as a child, wished he was a caveman (because Cavemen didn’t need to read or write!).

Together they look to explore the possibilities of Alternative Assessment as a way to facilitate inclusion and promote excellence in education. Dyslexia Tutor
