2.0 is an upcoming Indian science fiction filmwritten and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, founder of Lyca Productions.[6] It is the First Indian movie that is directly shot on 3D. It is Also the first Indian movie which is going to be released in 15 Languages. The movie serves as a sequel to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran, and features Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.[7] The film will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.[8][9][10][11] With an estimated budget of ₹450 crore (₹4.5 billion), it is the most expensive Indian film made to date.[12] A dubbed version in Telugu will release alongside the original Tamil and Hindi versions.[13]The film is expected to be released worldwide on 25 January 2018.
