Investigators in Georgia have released new information about last week’s deadly shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, outside of Atlanta.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) posted online a list of frequently asked questions about the attack that killed four people and wounded nine others.

The agency wrote that 14-year-old Colt Gray brought the “black semi-automatic AR-15 style rifle” to school with him on Sept. 4 in his backpack. The weapon could not be broken down, but was able to be hidden in his bag.

The GBI said Colt kept the gun hidden until second period, at which time, he “asked a teacher if he could go to the front office and speak to someone.”

From there, investigators said Colt took his bag and went to the restroom, later taking out fo the rifle and opening fire, killing two students and two teachers.

Colt Gray is charged with four counts of felony murder. His father Colin Gray was also arrested after he reportedly purchased the gun used in the shooting.

In the week since the deadly attack at Apalachee High School in Georgia, there have been dozens of threats made to schools nationwide.
