Tsunami inundation analysis of Turbine Building B1 of Fukushima Daiichi NPS Unit 1 by MPS method |
|
This is a tsunami inundation analysis into an interior of Turbine Building of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 by the Explicit Moving Particle Simulation (EMPS) method. The event in which two emergency diesel generators and power panels of interior of Turbine Building of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 was inundated by the tsunami is simulated. In this analysis, a large object carry-in door were assumed as an inundation route. Since a fragmentation phenomenon is not simulated in this analysis, only the large object carry-in door was deleted at 40 seconds. The analysis area was 107 m x 128 m, and the initial spacing between particles was 0.1 m. About 72 hours and 384 nodes of the FX100 at Nagoya University were required for this analysis of 200 seconds. The maximum number of particles reached 130 million particles. We can see that the power panels is covered with water after a few second, inundation on basement 1 starts from the stair A after 25 s and the emergency diesel generator B is covered with water after 80 s, since the beginning of inundation from the large object carry-in door.
