A boundless wilderness, a mere flapping of wings away from the beaches of the Baltic Sea. In this aquatic world between Germany and Poland, more sea eagles breed than anywhere else and during the latest summer more than 200 of these birds of prey gathered here for a feeding frenzy. The first wolf pack in Western Pomerania settled here years ago and huge herds of wild horses and bison cross the area.
